This place is amazing. We came because the food looked so good and found out that this restaurant has a very good cause and story behind it. It is a non profit, pay what you can restaurant that helps people for free with addiction 3 All of the staff is super super sweet and the food was literally the best breakfast we’ve had in a long time. It’s cash only and you leave your donation after you eat. This is our new go to spot and definitely will come back to try lunch! 3

Excellent food, terrific service and really friendly, family friendly atmosphere. The corned beef hash is my usual go-to (it's so hard to find a good one in this part of the country- and theirs is fantastic), but this last go I branched out and tried the Reuben. Holy smokes, it was legit delicious. Crave inducing and worth the drive.

Absolutely one of the best places you can go for breakfast. The food here is amazing, and best of all, it's made from scratch. I heard about this place a whole back and finally broke down and paid a visit. CASH ONLY, make sure you bring some green. The food here has so much character that it has you wanting to try every menu option. Best of all this is a recovery center too, these people do not get paid, they get cured. Service here is superb as well ad the food served. I highly recommend paying this place a visit one weekend, as they are closed Monday through Saturday.

Oh, please don't forget to check out the mosaic ally next to this restaurant and the artsy patio. It's beautiful!

This non-profit restaurant is amazing. The food is so good! We love it every time! Order at the counter. Put a number placard on the table and they will bring you your order. There are no prices. Everything is a donation. But we are always generous here at its a great experience and for a worthy cause (helping people post recovery). Cash and check only. No credit card or debit card. Breakfast and lunch only. Again, the food is outstanding. And everyone has a great attitude. This has become our favorite spot in Smithville. And they now operate a food truck in downtown Bastrop, too. Omelets, French toast, a giant parfait, burgers, eggs Benedict, and so much more. Check it out!
